Charlestown Yoga Workshops and Classes 2009



New Workshops and Classes at the Studio

Pilates -Join us for a great class that helps create abdominal strength and a longer, leaner body. Thursdays at 7:30pm.

Yang / Yin - Learn to integrate awareness, breath, alignment, strength and focus to your yoga practice in this 75 minute class. Wednesdays at Noon and Saturdays at 4pm.

Restorative - Relax and renew the body and mind. This class will help to balance the nervous system, reduce anxiety and stress, enhance immunity, and promote restful sleep. Tuesdays at 8pm.

Hip Hop Dance on Friday, February 6th at 7:45pm - A fun, energetic introduction to hip hop dance styles! The workshop will include a warm-up, followed by an upbeat combination set to popular music and will close with an African style combination used as a cool down. This class is suitable for all levels of dancers-especially beginners.

FREE Men's Yoga class on Saturday, February 7th at 12:30pm - This hour-long class will focus on the basics of alignment and core work. 15 student minimum.

Belly Dancing Friday, February 20th at 7:45pm - Don't miss this fun and empowering class. Learn to enjoy the natural, sensual, and feminine way in which our bodies can move through the art of bellydancing.

SPECIAL CLASS: Saturday, January 24th at 4pm

NOTE: We welcome all the new students who have joined us in the New Year. We ask that all students be mindful that the classes fill up quickly. Online and drop-in registrations are welcome. Ten (10) slots are available for both online and drop-in attendance. Online registrations will be honored up until 5 minutes prior to class at which time the space will be released to a drop-in student.
